About
I teach courses in both literature and history, and my research concerns both the U.S. and Europe, primarily in the 20th century. Currently, I'm editing a volume on the history of Turkish American relations, and I'm developing a book proposal that relates the Great Migration of African-Americans to the northern U.S. to the development of blues and jazz music.
